Licensed Psychologist

Join our clinical team!

We currently have immediate openings for NYS Licensed Psychologist to join our practice at a skilled nursing facilities located in Dobbs Ferry and Hastings-on-Hudson.

Requirements:

• Must have doctorate in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, neuropsychology, or health psychology
• Must have NYS license in psychology
• Experience and training in geriatric psychology, neuropsychology, and/or health psychology is a plus but not a requirement

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose and provide treatment to patients with varied mental health needs in a culturally sensitive, professional and ethical manner. Challenging issues that our psychologists encounter with long-term care patients include adjustment to change, compliance with care and medication, anxiety, depression, compulsive behavior, isolation and withdrawal, and low self-evaluation
• Collaborate with treatment teams and other related service providers to assure continuity of care
• Present in-service trainings to other clinical disciplines within the facility to optimize patient outcomes
