UltraSound Tech (Night - Per-Diem)
Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer
Location: White Plains, NY
Employment Type: Per Diem (Night)
Summary:
Seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic sonography in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Responsibilities include patient preparation, operating imaging equipment, and assisting radiologists while ensuring high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized ultrasound procedures
- Prepare and position patients for exams
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment
- Assist radiologists as needed
- Follow radiology standards of care and quality assurance protocols
- Deliver excellent patient care and service
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited ultrasound program or Limited Permit/certificate
- ARDMS eligible (within 1 year of graduation + 1,000 clinical hours)
- ARDMS required (or ARRT (S) / RT (VS))
- BLS certification through American Heart Association (or within 90 days of hire)
- Must maintain continuing education requirements
- Experience preferred
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
