Job Summary

We're seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses (ED RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency setting. The RN will assess patient conditions, respond to life-threatening emergencies, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure safe and effective treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency department patients
• Rapidly identify and intervene in life-threatening conditions
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and perform phlebotomy
• Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families
• Maintain accurate documentation using MEDITECH EMR
• Follow infection control and patient safety protocols
• Prioritize patient needs in high-stress situations
• May be required to serve as charge nurse when needed

Requirements

• Active New York State RN License
• Travel Nursing Experience Required
• MEDITECH EMR Experience Required
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• BLS and ACLS Certifications (Required)
• PALS Certification (or must obtain within 6 months of hire)

• Critical Care experience
• Previous Charge Nurse experience
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
