We have a 24/7 Emergency Room in our Brewster, NY location and in addition we provide Neurology, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Surgery, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Oncology, Sports Medicine, Rehabilitation, Blood Bank and diagnostic imaging and laboratory services. Since our founding, Guardian Veterinary has grown to include locations in Middletown, NY, for ER Services, overnight and weekends/holidays as well as a General Practice in the Bronx, NY. Guardian Veterinary is looking for someone that emits positive energy, conveys clear and concise messages in a friendly way, can think on one’s feet, embodies the ability to be a calming force in a chaotic time, aptitude to follow the ebb and flow of the day and change course as necessary, while staying within the guidelines and demonstrates exceptional judgement.

Job Details:

• Currently we are looking for LVTs to join our Neurology, Internal Medicine, Surgery, and ER/ICU departments.
• Compensation & Sign on Bonuses: $30-$40 (based on experience) + $10,000 sign on bonus now through the end of September! (Brewster Location Exclusive).
• Shift Differentials ER/ICU Night Shifts.
• Monday-Thursday overnights: Base pay + $2.
• Friday-Sunday overnights: Base pay + $4.

Schedules:

• ER/ICU: Four 9.5 hour shifts, days, swings, and overnights available.
• Neurology, Surgery, & Internal Medicine Departments: Four 9.5 hour shifts between 8am-8pm.

Qualified applicants for this role:

• License eligible.
• Must be an LVT within 6 months of Hire or licensed Veterinary Technicians.
• Love of animals and a passion to help and heal, first and foremost.
• The desire to continually learn and grow.
• License eligible or licensed Veterinary Technicians.
• Licensed Specialized Veterinary Technicians desired for our 13 specialty department's, ER and Rehab.
• General practice and surgical skills are desired, but not required.
• Must be open to working at least one overnight.
