Job Title: Patient Service Representative

Location: East Brunswick, NJ

Duration: 52 Weeks (Per Diem)

Schedule: Flexible / Per Diem (Minimum 1 shift every 2 weeks)

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a Patient Service Representative to support a dynamic clinical team on a per diem basis. This role offers excellent flexibility for individuals looking for a part-time or as-needed schedule. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient service while supporting front-desk and administrative operations in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a professional and friendly manner upon arrival and departure
• Address patient inquiries and concerns in accordance with office policies
• Manage incoming calls and voicemail messages efficiently
• Schedule, confirm, and maintain patient appointments
• Maintain and update the appointment calendar
• Follow up on missed or canceled appointments
• Register patients and manage sign-in procedures
• Accurately post charges and process payments
• Assist with treatment coordination and financial discussions
• Ensure the reception and waiting area remains clean and welcoming
• Provide general administrative support to office staff as needed

Required Qualifications

• Experience handling phone communications in a professional environment
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• High school diploma or GED required

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a dental, medical, or healthcare office
• Familiarity with insurance plans (HMO/PPO)
