Janitorial Lead

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on both commercial and residential settings.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and stripping to ensure high-quality appearance and safety.
• Carry out custodial duties including restroom sanitation, waste disposal, and replenishing supplies as needed.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to support the overall upkeep of the premises.
• Engage in industrial cleaning processes when required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and address any cleaning or maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or needs for replenishment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
• Familiarity with residential painting techniques is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance of various flooring types.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• A proactive attitude towards maintaining facilities and ensuring a safe environment for all users.

Some requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Should have at least 1 year of janitorial management experience.
• Willing to work on weekends and holidays.
• Willing to do heavy lifting.
• Must be willing to go under drug screening and background check.
