- Produce complete electrical systems design drawings in accordance with the code
- Collaborate in solving a variety of complex engineering problems (e.g., conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, difficult coordination requirements)
- Organize technical and financial proposals for new work
- Keep senior staff informed of important and relevant service/design decisions to ensure the objectives of the client are achieved
- Establish a strong relationship with the design team
- Responding to RFIs and communicating information accurately and in a timely manner
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering required; PE highly preferred
- 7+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer with 5+ years in the MEP space
- Expert knowledge of building codes and standards, engineering drafting standards, electrical engineering standards, and other trades
- Expert understanding of the construction process and interpretation of construction drawings
- Advanced technical knowledge of electrical systems; ability to investigate, identify, and provide solutions to technical problems
- Experience in the preparation of technical reports for delivery to a client audience
- AutoCAD and REVIT proficiency
