Part-Time STEAM Mentor (Coding, Drones, Game Design)
STEAM Adventures is an educational consulting company bringing the wonder of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) to youth ages 7–16. Through gamified and project-based learning, we teach coding, drone piloting, robotics, and video game design to students in schools and community programs. Our mission is to inspire the next generation of innovators and changemakers.
Role Description:
We are seeking dynamic and passionate college students and recent graduates majoring in STEM or Education to join our team as STEAM Mentors. This is a perfect opportunity to gain hands-on teaching experience, build your resume, and inspire young minds while working in a fun, supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate engaging, hands-on STEAM lessons using coding, drones, and game design tools
- Support classroom management and student collaboration
- Serve as a positive role model and mentor to students
- Assist in curriculum delivery and setup/cleanup of classroom technology
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a STEM or Education degree program
- OR Recent high school graduate with classroom experience
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working with youth is a plus
- Enthusiastic about tech, creativity, and mentorship
