Position Overview:

The Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) is seeking an experienced Software Architect to support the CHOICES System, a highly customized, cloud-based MS Dynamics 365 solution. This 30-month engagement involves maintaining and enhancing the BizTalk application environment, ensuring high-volume data updates function efficiently, and implementing future-state architecture in light of end-of-life planning for BizTalk.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and resolve issues in MS BizTalk application instances
• Monitor BizTalk traffic to ensure successful data delivery
• Identify and troubleshoot performance issues, working with internal teams or Microsoft support
• Modify Pipelines, Orchestrations, Mappings, Schemas, and .NET code related to BizTalk data
• Evaluate and implement proof-of-concept replacements for BizTalk ahead of its end-of-life
• Address production issues and resolve Help Desk tickets
• Contribute to ongoing stability, scalability, and enhancements for CHOICES and related systems
• Complete all required training, including Internal Controls, Information Security, and more

Minimum Required Experience:

• 5 years of experience in the analysis, design, development, deployment, and troubleshooting of BizTalk integration solutions for enterprise-level applications using WCF and web services (SOA)
• 5 years of experience monitoring BizTalk traffic, identifying performance issues, and tuning BizTalk for optimized operation
• 5 years of experience designing and developing high-performance web applications using ASP.NET/C# in a .NET/IIS environment
• 5 years of experience designing, developing, and securing SOAP and REST web services using WCF and Web API
• 3 years of experience developing and modifying .NET-based applications that integrate with other .NET systems

Preferred Educational Attainment:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
