Home Care Human Resources (HR)

UniversaCare is currently seeking a HR Coordinator to join the team of fast-growing home health care providers

Position: Full-Time

Start Date: Immediately

Job Requirements:

• Ensure new hires and existing paraprofessional employees (HHA/PCA) are in compliance with DOH regulations, including pre-employment physicals, annual updates, and in-service requirements.
• Process new applicants for employment as well as procure and authenticate documents required for employment, such as I-9.
• Enter compliance information into the software system, HHA Exchange.
• Utilize the software system HHA Exchange to track ongoing compliance via reporting tools.
• Ensure annual performance evaluations and supervisions are being performed for all paraprofessional employees.
• Coordinate and schedule on-going in-service education for all paraprofessional employees.

Skills:

• Knowledge of DOH regulations and guidelines relating to HHA and PCA employment requirements.
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Previous Human Resource (HR) Coordinator experience in a home care agency,
• Experience using HHA Exchange preferred
• Bilingual Spanish speaking required

Professional Qualifications:

Associate Degree and above in Management, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field

Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources

Must be well organized, self-motivated and detail-oriented

Be able to multi-task.
