Temporary Business Development Project Specialist (Three-month Assignment)
As the Temporary Business Development Project Specialist, you will support strategic business development initiatives, publications, and event-related projects for a busy practice. The firm is seeking a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational and administrative skills, excellent writing and editing abilities, and prior experience in a professional services or law firm environment. If you enjoy coordinating projects, collaborating with partners, and contributing to high-profile initiatives, this could be the opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist updating, proofreading, and organizing documents, coordinating cross-departmentally, and liaising with partners and senior legal staff.
- Actively listen during meetings, take concise notes, and follow up on action items.
- Maintain and update firm website content, assist in preparing pitch materials and written proposals, and client presentations.
- Support event planning and sponsorship initiatives, including managing registrations, tracking attendance, and compiling briefing materials.
- Coordinate calendars, scheduling, and internal communications related to events, and marketing initiatives.
- Handle administrative tasks such as research requests, data management, compiling thought leadership, and preparing reports.
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail across all materials and projects, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate with various internal contacts, such as legal staff, on BD initiatives.
