Job location: Wappingers Falls, NY

Pay Rate: $18/hour

Type of employment: Full-Time/Part-Time

Shifts Available: 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm


We are pursuing a compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Provider to work with individuals with developmental disabilities as part of our team in Wappingers Falls, NY. In this function, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting their independence, and ensuring their well-being.



Direct Care Provider General Requirements:

»Minimum of 6 months practice in direct care with the OPWDD population

»Updated MDC certification

»Reliable and flexible

» capability to work well in a team environment



Direct Care Provider Responsibilities:

»Provide direct care services to individuals with developmental disabilities

»Assist with everyday living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and feeding

»Ensure that the physical, emotional, and social needs of the individuals are met

»Assist with community integration and socialization activities

»Implement individualized care plans and behavior support plans

»Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided
