About the Role:

You’ll work closely with vendors like Schneider Electric and ABB, collaborating with our internal sales, shipping, and management teams. This role demands someone highly organized, responsive, and confident navigating fast-paced, high-value commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with multiple vendors to source, price, and negotiate optimal terms
• Build accurate, competitive, and timely bid proposals for contractors bidding on major commercial electrical projects
• Own the bid process end-to-end — manage pricing, quote assembly, documentation, and delivery deadlines
• Coordinate internally with sales, shipping receiving, and upper management to align on logistics, approvals, and customer requirements
• Manage BOM (bill of materials) creation and project material lists
• After project award, oversee project coordination: ensuring timely equipment delivery, troubleshooting issues, and serving as a client point of contact
• Delegate data entry tasks (line-item inputs, documentation uploads) to support resources as needed
• Maintain strong professional relationships with both vendors and high-value commercial electrical contractor clients
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in switchgear estimating or technical project coordination within an electrical distributor environment
• In-depth knowledge of electrical switchgear products and commercial electrical systems
• Familiarity with Schneider, Eaton, ABB, Siemens, or similar vendor quoting platforms preferred

• Highly organized, detail-driven, and capable of juggling multiple large, complex bids at once
• Excellent communication skills — phone, email, and text; must be proactive and highly responsive
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Experience working across multiple departments including upper management, sales teams, and shipping/logistics
• Experience with NetSuite ERP preferred
• Must be comfortable working onsite, full-time, in the Brooklyn office
