The Vendor Technician delivers and services key vending account customers and customer cabinets/storerooms relative to inventory of gases, consumables and safety products. Additionally, this position does basic troubleshooting and mechanical repairs as needed. This position focuses on servicing existing accounts throughout an assigned territory.Supporting the delivery and replenishment of various industrial products and vending machine or storeroom items to ensure our customers' success.
Resolves technical issues and restores mechanical vending systems to support operational continuity. Will monitor manual stock levels of various inventories across multiple plant departments to ensure timely reordering and availability. Maintains dedicated branch inventory levels to foster a reliable replenishment process. Collaborates with the team by tracking and submitting delivery tickets and consignment fill tickets accurately. ________________________Are you a MATCH? Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Required. Must have a valid US driver’s license and a clean driving record. Minimum 2 years of experience in product distribution or inventory management. Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) or Google Suite. Must have prior inventory management, customer service, sales and/or PC help desk related experience. Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing; listens effectively and clarifies information as needed. Ability to problem solve and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Lives by Airgas safety programs, OSHA, and all related rules, regulations, procedures which are applicable to this position’s responsibilities. Able to lift 30 pounds. Mechanically and technologically competent. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with welding and safety products or related industrial products a plus. ________________________ Benefits We care about and support our Airgas Families.
