Bartender
Nothing Really Matters is a cocktail bar in Midtown Manhattan with a program built around thoughtful drinks, genuine hospitality, and a room that people actually want to spend time in. We take what we do seriously without taking ourselves too seriously, and we're looking for a bartender who gets that.
What we're looking for:
We want someone who knows their way around a cocktail program and brings real NYC experience to the bar. You should be as comfortable talking a guest through the menu as you are dialing in specs during a busy Friday night. You love hospitality, you sweat the details, and you hold yourself to a high standard without needing anyone to remind you.
- 2+ years of cocktail bartending experience in New York City, in a full-service bar or restaurant environment
- Strong foundational knowledge of spirits, technique, and classic cocktails
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume setting while keeping your section tight and your guests happy
- A genuine interest in the craft, you know why things taste the way they do and you care about consistency
- A team player with a good attitude and the kind of reliability we can actually count on
What you'll be doing:
- Working the bar with efficiency, precision, and warmth on every shift
- Executing cocktail specs to standard and maintaining consistency across all builds
- Engaging guests, building regulars, and creating the kind of experience that brings people back
- Supporting the floor team and collaborating with management to keep service running smoothly
- Contributing ideas and observations that help make the program better
