Network Enginer, Service Provider
Our client is a leading fiber network services provider, and they are building out the Core Network Engineering team. We have multiple roles for Network Engineers with In-Depth knowledge in the Design, Architecture, Deployment and Testing of Carrier (MSP) Networks. Knowledge of transport, routing protocols, network security,network testing tools and automation essential.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop our clientâs core network infrastructure
- Create and implement service provider network designs and comprehensive documentation, such as Methods of Procedures, diagrams, and drawings.
- Create, deploy and test network designs.
- Develop customer service configurations for deployment via network automation and low-touch provisioning.
- Collaborate with Network Operations Teams for testing and maintenance.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5+ years experience of high tempo network engineering and deployment
- MUST HAVE: experience in Broadband, MSP/ISP, Service Provider, Telco, Carrier networks
- Bachelorâs degree or equivalent experience is preferred
Technology Subject Matter Areas
- OSI Networking Model, on networking, protocol and transport
- Industry certification helpful: CCNP, JNCIS-SP, JNCIP, or similar
- Routing protocols such as  BGP, MPLS, OSPF, ISIS
- Transport technologies: FTTX, PON, GPON, XGS-PON, carrier ethernet, legacy fiber
- Knowledge of Quality of Service (QoS), including Layer 2 COS and Layer 3 QoS.
- Testing tools and platforms: SNMP, Syslog, DNS, AAA, DHCP, L2 VPN, L3 VPN technologies, VRFs, LAG technologies, CGNAT, and VOIP.
- Networking and Cybersecurity skills MUST: Firewall, VPN, IOS-XR or JUNOS.
