Required:

- proof of proficiency in and daily use of Microsoft Office Word, Outlook and Excel

- proof of 35 WPM typing speed

- ability to perform data entry accurately and promptly

- ability to learn new databases and proprietary computer systems

- ability to prepare professional correspondence, forms or other documents in draft and final form using information obtained in the agency's databases and files

- ability to work well with others, including those with developmental disabilities, in an office environment

- professional verbal and written skills as shown by office experience with previous employers

- ability to prioritize and multi-task

- ability to maintain confidentiality of all information and follow HIPPA guidelines

- proven ability to complete general office duties including but not limited to filing, answering telephones, copying, scanning, operating standard office machinery, e-faxing and opening, distributing and sending postal mail

Would also prefer candidates who may have previous experience with:

-Crystal Report Designer

-WMS, eMedNY, ePACES, or other NYS OTDA/Medicaid systems
