Job Summary

We are seeking a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer to join our client’s cardiology team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in pediatric echocardiography and the ability to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging for pediatric patients.

 

Job Description

• Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging procedures on pediatric patients.
• Provide accurate and timely diagnostic imaging reports.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information.
• Adhere to safety and regulatory guidelines in all imaging procedures.

 

Skills Required

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in pediatric cardiac sonography
• Strong Knowledge of pediatric cardiac anatomy and physiology
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with clinical staff

 

Education/Training/Certifications

• Completion of an appropriate training program for Ultrasound Technologist to include Military Training
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), issued by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) required
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) issued by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
