Real Estate Paralegal

We continue to experience significant growth and require the assistance of a Real Estate Paralegal to directly support a Partner in our Real Estate Department. This position is based out of our Mount Kisco, NY office.
Responsibilities would include but not be limited to:
- Prepare and review both residential and commercial real estate documents including contracts, leases, closing statements, title reports, deeds and related closing documents.
- Review title reports and lien searches and resolve related title issues.
- Coordinate with lenders, title companies, realtors, clients, and municipal offices to facilitate transactions.
- Manage deadlines and ensure all documents are properly filed and recorded.
- Prepare closing reports and ensure accurate disbursement of funds.
- Review surveys, zoning reports, and UCC filings.
- Draft and file documents related to entity formation and registration, if applicable.
- Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical files.
Required:
- Minimum of five years of experience as a real estate paralegal
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- This a full-time, Monday through Friday, in-office position.
- Strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint.
- Experience with e-filing, in-person filing
- Ability to problem-solve procedural and calendaring issues on the fly with minimal supervision.
- Experience with Clio and NetDocs a strong plus.
Salary Range: $80,000-$110,000
