• Location: Syracuse, NY

• Setting: Outpatient Imaging Clinic

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (occasional Saturdays/overtime)

• Compensation: $30.00 – $40.00/hour (based on experience)

🩺 About the Role

As a Medical Radiology Technologist, you’ll perform general radiography, DEXA scans, and OR-based C-arm imaging in a high-quality, patient-centered environment. You’ll collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow techs to ensure accurate imaging and optimal patient care, while contributing to the smooth operation of a respected radiology department.

🧰 Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and execute imaging orders with precision

• Prepare, position, and comfort patients for procedures

• Operate advanced radiologic equipment (C-arms, DEXA, general X-ray units)

• Follow ALARA principles and maintain sterile technique in OR settings

• Review images for quality and diagnostic accuracy

• Document work via PACS, RIS, and EMS systems

• Maintain clean, organized work areas and perform equipment QA

• Support interdisciplinary care with strong teamwork and communication

• Ensure compliance with SUNY, NYS DOH, and DNV guidelines

🎓 Required Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Medical Radiography

• ARRT certification and valid NYS Radiologic Technologist license

• BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)

🌟 Preferred

• 2+ years of experience in radiologic technology

• Background in outpatient or surgical imaging preferred
