Location: This is a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Garden City, New York.

Job Description

• Support attorneys with commercial real estate and lending matters from opening through closing
• Prepare, revise, and organize legal documents, closing checklists, and transaction files
• Coordinate due diligence, title, survey, lien, and entity documents
• Assist with closings, post-closing follow-up, and file management
• Communicate with clients, lenders, title companies, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders
• Track deadlines, manage documentation, and help keep transactions moving efficiently
• Maintain organized files and provide day-to-day support across active real estate matters

Qualifications

• 2+ years of directly relevant real estate paralegal experience preferred
• Strong experience with real estate transactions, lending, or related commercial real estate matters
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Able to manage multiple files and deadlines in a fast-paced law firm environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Paralegal certificate is a plus, but practical experience is more important
