Bank Branch Supervisor - Credit Union

Location: People's Alliance Federal Credit Union is seeking a Branch Supervisor for our Brooklyn, NY branch located at 67 Hanson Place.

As Branch Supervisor, you will have total management of the branch office, provide exemplary service to all members, process loan applications, manage branch staff, cash handling and merchandise inventory, office equipment, security, cleaning service and some interaction with the building manager. We are seeking a candidate with excellent communication, customer service and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and develop staff, as well as interact with executive management.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Oversee all areas of branch operations including member relations, branch security, cash management, Vault operations and regulatory compliance.
• Opens accounts and related products and services accurately and ensures all related documentation is complete.
• Perform duties related to loan processing Certificates of Deposit, IRAs, disbursements, etc.
• Troubleshoot and resolve member inquiries in a timely, friendly, and accurate manner.
• Promote PAFCU's products and services.
• Direct, develop, motivate, hire, and discipline branch personnel; provide day-to-day support to staff as well as ongoing training as needed; handle employee relations matters within the branch.
• Ensure proper staffing levels and monitors time off requests and time card management.
• Maintain communication with management, preparing and submitting standard reports and attending scheduled management and organization meetings.
• Ensure member communications are updated and relevant; make certain the branch is clean and well maintained.

Educational Qualifications:

• Branch Supervisor should possess an Associate's Degree in a related field
• 2 years prior Supervisory experience in a credit union or similar financial institution
• 3-5 years demonstrated successful experience in branch banking, or a related operations/support function
• Knowledge and competency in Microsoft Office and computer skills
• Notary preferred

Compensation: This is a Full Time Management level position with salary and benefits package to reflect current company guidelines

Branch Hours: Tues. -Thurs. 8:30am-4:00pm, Friday 8:30am-6:00pm, Sat. 8:30am-2:00pm.
