Bookkeeper/Accountant

Our client is looking for a Bookkeeper/Accountant. This position is onsite located in Farmingdale, NY.
  • Salary: $80,000 - $110,000
Responsibilities:
  • Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  • Oversee collections and cash application
  • Maintain accurate general ledger and bookkeeping records
  • Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations
  • Generate financial reports and support management with ad hoc reporting
  • Work within an industry-specific ERP system
  • Utilize Excel for reporting, reconciliations, and analysis
  • Support process improvements as the company continues to grow
Required Qualifications:
  • 10–20 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
  • Strong experience with AR, AP, and general accounting functions
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, reporting)
  • Experience in a small to mid-sized company environment preferred
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on, primarily manual process environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Professional, team-oriented, and seeking long-term stability
