Job Summary
To support our growth, we're looking for a Global Implementations Manager to join our awesome team!
As the Global Implementations Manager, you will plan, organize, and implement technology projects for our client locations globally. These projects will be focused on technologies that support the Food program such as point-of-sale and menu management. You will be responsible for overseeing the timelines and resources of any project assigned, which includes managing resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within their specified budgets. The Global Implementation Manager must manage several projects at the same time with various degrees of complexity. Maintain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of technologies, applications, and services.
This role will be based in New York City (Hybrid)
The great things you'll do:
Identify technology solution(s) based on analysis of operational business need or challenge
Lead implementation of projects from end to end, both internally and externally with client
Partner with sector/country technology teams to create quotes, project budgets and hardware orders
Work closely with client, operations team, Director of Digital and sector/country technology teams to create project scopes and implementation timelines
Act as the key liaison between client, operations team and cross functional teams (culinary, marketing, kitchen design, etc.) within Compass to drive day to day implementation activities
Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, both externally and within Compass
Project manage and monitor the implementation process, working closely with clients, vendor partners, and Compass teams
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan, involving all relevant stakeholders and closely monitoring the status of key deliverables
Track and report on implementation progress and key risks and issues
Refine implementation best practices and create an efficient and repeatable model for future clients
Work collaboratively to define and optimize processes for effectiveness, efficiency, and consistency
Support the creation of a playbook to guide process for implementing additional locations
Other duties may be assigned.
What we look for in the perfect candidate:
Bachelor's or equivalent preferred; minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in place of a degree
3-5 years of relevant experience in technology project management and operations.
Project management and leadership skills for managing projects and resources.
Self-motivated and well-organized; able to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure.
Analytical and problem-solving skills to handle any issues that occur during project implementation.
Must be able to manage multiple projects and tasks at one time.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain and coordinate technical details.
Demonstrated problem solving and solution development skills and the ability to explain problems and propose solutions to both technical and non-technical clients.
Able to work with a wide group of stakeholders in a positive and collaborative manner.
Experience working with project management systems (Asana preferred).
Experience in contract foodservice is highly preferred.
Ability to travel globally, approximately 25%
