- Represent clients in Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy proceedings, including adversary actions and contested matters.
- Advise financial institutions, lenders, loan servicers, and other creditors on rights and remedies under state and federal law.
- Draft and negotiate documents such as proofs of claim, motions for relief from stay, and reaffirmation agreements.
- Litigate and resolve matters involving collections, workouts, foreclosure, and restructuring.
- Conduct legal research, prepare case strategies, and keep clients informed on case status and developments.
- Appear in state and federal courts throughout New York as required.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality client service and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing of the New York State Bar.
- 5+ years of experience in bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, or related litigation.
- Strong knowledge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), and relevant state and federal regulations.
- Proven litigation skills, including courtroom experience and familiarity with federal and state court procedures.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills.

Salary Range: $160,000k - $200,000k
