FUND FINANCE / SUBSCRIPTION LINE SENIOR ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY OR COUNSEL

Our client, a prestigious global AmLaw 50 law firm, is seeking a skilled Senior Associate Attorney or Counsel to join their dynamic Global Finance group. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys who have a passion for fund finance and subscription line lending and want to work with a leading team in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.

Candidate Profile:

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record .

• Active Bar Admission in New York .

• 4+ years of substantive experience in fund finance and subscription line lending .

• Experience advising banks , business development companies , and funds on asset-backed lending to funds or other investment vehicles in the private debt space.

• Proven ability to run key aspects of transactions independently , from due diligence to closing.

• Strong drafting, negotiation, and client service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent major financial institutions, alternative lenders, and asset managers in a range of fund finance transactions, including subscription credit facilities and NAV-based lending.

• Collaborate closely with fund formation counsel to advise on leverage considerations during fund launches.

• Take the lead on complex transactions, managing timelines, documents, and client expectations.

• Draft and negotiate credit agreements, collateral documentation, and related materials.

• Support clients through all phases of a transaction, ensuring smooth execution and legal compliance.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Highly Competitive Salary: $310,000+ , commensurate with experience and class year.
