Accountant
The Backal Hospitality Group, a growing organization experiencing continued expansions is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations of multiple locations. This role will be instrumental in strengthening financial processes, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance practices.
This position requires the ability to think systematically and execute multiple projects with attention to detail, interpret as well as maintain accurate financial records while delivering timely reporting to support executive and operational decision-making. Responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining accurate general ledger records, including journal entries and reconciliations, reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, POS sales, and vendor statements, manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
A minimum of 3-5 years of previous experience in restaurant/hospitality bookkeeping and accounting is required, coupled with proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft office programs and prior knowledge of a POS system is required.
