Job Description

Our East Syracuse, NY laboratory is looking for seasonal entry-level Accounting Assistant to join their team! The Accounting Assistant will research client invoices and payments to reconcile accounts. The Accounting Assistant works independently to support the teams efforts to provide excellent customer service. The Accounting Assistant ensures best quality through adherence to all policies and procedures.

• Researches client inquiries on invoices, payments, and account status
• Provides detailed extracts from databases
• Provides outcomes of prompt and thorough investigations
• Follows direction on priority
• Keeps excellent records of activity
• Communicates consistently with peers and supervisor on status of requests
• Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and prior general working experience (Required)
• 1-2 years of accounts receivable experience (Preferred)
• Proficient English language skills (Required)
• Basic mathematical and reasoning skills (Required)
• Basic computer skills (Required)

This position pays $20/hr and is eligible for overtime.

In addition, your compensation package includes the following benefits:
