Job Summary

We are looking for individual to join our client’s team as Payroll Assistant. This position involves assisting with the preparation and distribution of payroll, maintaining employee records, and addressing payroll inquiries.

Job Description

• Process payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
• Aid in entering and paying all wage garnishments.
• Process property payroll transfer reports.
• Ensure benefits deductions are accurate.
• Conduct audits to ensure accuracy and maintain data integrity.
• Provide support to leadership team for various other accounting related projects.

Skills Required

• Atleast +2 years experience in timekeeping and Payroll processing (i.e. Garnishments, Taxes, Year End activities)
• Understanding of tax laws and or tax filing experience
• Analytical skills related to retro calculations of pay and time required as well as the ability to work with multiple systems simultaneously.
• Intermediate to advance skills in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Education/Training/Certifications

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Bachelor Degree preferred

Additional Requirements

• Shift Time: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM); flexible schedule required every other Friday.

Pay Rate

• $33.00 per hour
