Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the billing process, including generating invoices across multiple billing cycles.
• Record vendor bills and maintain accurate records in the accounting system.
• Prepare bank deposits and monitor accounts receivable, including follow-up on overdue accounts.
• Create and post monthly journal entries and accruals.
• Reconcile sales tax and customer deposits.
• Prepare and file monthly/quarterly sales tax returns.
• Oversee employee expenses and billable time, ensuring accuracy and proper contract details.
• Generate monthly financial statements, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet, as well as custom reports.
• Produce profitability reports by company, department, client, and employee.
• Maintain key financial and operational metrics/KPI reporting.
• Assist with collections and other accounting functions as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in a full-charge bookkeeping role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and business operations.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
• Proven ability to problem-solve, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams).
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of management.
