Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Facilities Technician.



Position Type: Full time Contract, Possible Contract to Hire

Duration: 12months

Location: Amityville, NY, 11701


As an Facilities Technician you will:

• Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the facility's structure, equipment and grounds, including all trades (mechanical, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.).
• Performs trades work, such as carpentry or painting, in the construction, repair or alteration of structures such as walls, roofs or office fixtures.
• Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment. Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
• Requires knowledge of applicable standards or regulations and may require specific trade certifications.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $30 to $35/per hour

• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
