This enhanced understanding will contribute to the broader comprehension of CDG pathophysiology, potentially uncovering novel targets for therapeutic intervention. 2. _Identification of Therapeutic Targets:_ By employing a multidisciplinary approach encompassing molecular biology, viral vector technology, cell culture, electrophysiology, immunohistochemistry, and advanced imaging methodologies, we aim to identify specific metabolic alterations driving the brain pathology in CDG. These findings hold promise for the development of targeted therapeutic interventions aimed at alleviating or reversing the debilitating symptoms associated with CDG. 3. _Publication of Research Findings:_ We anticipate the publication of high-impact research findings in peer-reviewed journals, highlighting our contributions to the field of CDG research. These publications will serve to disseminate our discoveries to the scientific community, fostering further collaboration and exploration in the realm of CDG pathophysiology and therapeutic development. 4. _Contribution to Professional Development:_ The postdoctoral research fellow will have the opportunity to further develop their skills and expertise in a supportive and collaborative research environment. By actively participating in conferences, seminars, and workshops, we seek to disseminate our findings, exchange ideas, and inspire further investigation into CDG pathophysiology and therapeutic strategies. **Responsibilities** **Details of Research Project:** As a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in the Morava-Kozicz lab, you will engage in cutting-edge research aimed at unraveling the complex relationship between changes in structure and function, metabolic repercussions, and the brain phenotype observed in individuals with Congenital Disorders of Glycosylation (CDG). The salary range for the role is $72500 - $80000 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
