Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable Functions:
- Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper authorization, and coding to the correct cost centers or departments.
- Match purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documentation to maintain compliance with organizational and healthcare regulations.
- Prepare check runs and electronic payments while maintaining strong internal controls.
- Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with monthly closing procedures, expense tracking, and audit preparation.
- Maintain organized, confidential financial records in compliance with company policy and healthcare standards.

Human Resources Support:
- Assist with new hire onboarding, credentialing documentation, and employee file maintenance.
- Support the HR team with benefit enrollments, payroll updates, and attendance tracking.
- Coordinate employee communications, training reminders, and compliance documentation (e.g., licensure, certifications).
- Help maintain accurate and confidential employee records in compliance with HIPAA and employment regulations.
- Provide courteous and professional support to staff regarding basic HR or payroll inquiries.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably within a healthcare or medical setting.
- Familiarity with HR administrative tasks or willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
