What We’re Looking For

The Client Executive plays a critical role in delivering high-quality public relations support across multiple client accounts. This position requires deep understanding of client businesses, sectors and communications objectives, combined with strong execution skills.

Acting as both proactive contributor and response support partner, the Client Executive manages day to day account activity to ensure consistent, thoughtful delivery across media relations, content development, and campaign execution.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Account and Process Management

  • Monitor, track, and capture client media coverage across channels
  • Scan daily news and compile timely, well-curated news round up alerts for internal teams and clients
  • Maintain events calendars and identify speaking, sponsorship and networking opportunities for clients
  • Identify emerging media and thought leadership opportunities aligned with client objectives
  • Actively contributing to agency and account brainstorms of long-term communication campaigns and short-term activations
  • Media Relations and Social Media

  • Demonstrate a strong and evolving understanding of the media landscape, including outlets, journalists and trends
  • Creating and managing media lists, keeping them up to date with new contacts
  • Draft and deliver well-researched, professional media pitches to generate quality coverage
  • Monitoring news alerts daily, sharing with internal team members and making recommendations for responses where possible 
  • Displaying a solid understanding of different social media channels, their uses and application within PR strategies
  • Monitoring social media channels to identify proactive PR and engagement opportunities
  • Writing and Content Development

  • Drafting high quality PR materials such as press releases, media pitches, blogs, features etc. 
  • Write clear and engaging social media copy, with the guidance of Client Manager or Account Lead
  • Draft, update, and maintain key account documentation, including agendas, action items, summaries, monitoring reports, and weekly status reports
  • Client Management

  • Developing understanding of clients’ businesses and sectors, speaking confidently and accurately about their industries , being able to talk eloquently about their sector 
  • Identify creative collaboration opportunities and partnerships
  • Provide event management and on-site support as required 
  • New Revenue

  • Support research and idea development for new business pitches and client proposals
  • Participate in pitch preparation and presentations as needed
  • Contribute to agency thought leadership by proposing and writing blog posts and drafting web content

What you Bring to the Team

  • Detail-oriented and execution-focused, with the ability to deliver high-quality work in a fast-moving, lean team environment
  • 8–12 months of relevant professional experience (internship, apprenticeship, or full-time), or a recent graduate eager to accelerate their growth
  • Self-starter mindset - someone who is motivated, hungry, and willing to roll up sleeves to get the work done without a long ramp-up period
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability; follows through and takes pride in doing things rightComfortable operating with ambiguity and learning quickly in a small-team setting
  • Highly organized with sharp attention to detail across tasks, processes, and communication
  • Clear communicator who collaborates well and contributes positively to team
  • Based in (or able to work from) New York City, with flexibility to be present and engaged as needed
  • Brings diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and lived experiences that strengthen the team and company culture

Salary Range: $52,000-$58,000 annually
