Optical sales and administrative associate
Job Description:
Citywide Eye Care is seeking a motivated, friendly, and reliable Sales Associate / Medical Receptionist to join our team! In this dynamic role, you'll be responsible for assisting patients, selling eyeglasses, managing the front desk, and providing general support where needed. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about customer service, able to multitask, and comfortable working with computers. Bonus points if you speak Mandarin! You’ll get to work in a fast-paced, supportive environment where your efforts are rewarded.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients in selecting eyewear and provide expert knowledge about lens options and products.
- Handle customer transactions, process payments, and manage inventory.
- Greet patients and manage the front desk, including appointment scheduling, Insurance verifications and answering phone calls.
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Help where needed throughout the clinic, including supporting the medical team with technical work.
- Ensure the front desk is well-organized and stocked with necessary materials.
- Maintain accurate records and assist in administrative tasks.
Work Schedule:
- Full-Time : Tuesday to Saturday
- Part-Time : Flexible schedule with shifts on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Qualifications:
- Strong multitasking ability and attention to detail.
- Excellent people skills with the ability to engage with diverse groups.
- Comfortable using computers and medical management software.
- Preferably bilingual in Mandarin and English.
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or medical office reception preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent customer service.
