Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) provide hands-on patient care in the Regional Medical Unit at FCF , working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Assignments may include the Emergency Room, Long Term Care, Unit for the Cognitively Impaired, and Infirmary .
Schedule : D ays, evenings, and nights , with a minimum of 8 hours and the potential to extend to 12–16 hours as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in providing quality nursing care in accordance with institutional procedures.
- Accurately transcribe, prepare, administer, and document medications and treatments.
- Utilize Virtual Office Ware (EMR system) for patient documentation.
- Monitor and report changes in patients' health status to supervising RNs.
- Ensure patients receive proper nutrition, hydration, and hygiene .
- Maintain a safe and secure clinical environment.
- Follow all facility security protocols and participate in mandatory training.
Requirements
- Active LPN license.
- Minimum 1 year of professional and clinical experience.
- CPR and First Aid certification (required).
- Must successfully complete a 3-day medical orientation and security training.
- Must pass a background check and fingerprinting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a secure setting.
