Compensation: $35 to $45 per hour, Paid via W2 (on the books)

An UHNW client is seeking a full-time Executive Housekeeper for a large private residence in Scarsdale, NY. The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing and maintaining large homes, delivers meticulous cleaning standards, and takes pride in organization, discretion, and consistency. This role requires a proactive professional who can work independently, anticipate household needs, and uphold the highest level of care for the home.

Work Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain the home to an immaculate standard at all times, ensuring all rooms and surfaces are consistently clean, orderly, and well cared for.
• Perform all household laundry, including washing, drying, folding, ironing, and proper storage of clothing and linens.
• Demonstrate exceptional skill in laundry care, including fabric-specific handling and attention to detail.
• Conduct light mending as needed (preferred but not required).
• Manage daily and rotational housekeeping tasks in a large residence, ensuring no areas are overlooked.
• Perform occasional errands as requested (not a primary responsibility).
• Provide occasional driving support using personal vehicle for drop-offs and pick-ups (approximately 1–3 times per week), including school and extracurricular activities such as baseball and fencing.
• Maintain a professional, self-directed work style with minimal supervision.
• Exercise discretion, reliability, and respect for privacy at all times.

Required Qualities:

• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Maintains the home to an immaculate standard, with a keen eye for fine finishes, specialty surfaces, and presentation throughout the residence.
• Proven experience managing large, high-end homes.
• Comfortable overseeing the upkeep of a 12,000-square-foot residence, ensuring all areas are consistently maintained and properly cared for.
• Advanced laundry and ironing skills.
• Experienced in handling fine fabrics, luxury garments, and household linens, including proper washing, pressing, folding, and storage.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Capable of structuring daily, weekly, and seasonal routines to efficiently manage a large home without compromising quality.
• Discretion and professionalism.
• Respects privacy at all times and understands the expectations of working in a high-end, private household.
• Self-directed and dependable.
• Works independently with minimal supervision, taking initiative and full responsibility for the home’s overall condition.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ solid years of executive housekeeping for a private home.
• Excellent references from both current and previous employers.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must speak and be able to communicate well in English.
• Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
• Valid Driver's license and clean driving record.
