LPN - Endocrinology Clinic

This full-time position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, with clinic hours from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, at 25 Hackett Blvd, Albany, NY.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Obtain and accurately record patient's vital signs.
• Document detailed components of patient's history.
• Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff.
• Assist in in-office procedures under supervision.
• Perform diagnostic CLIA waived testing.
• Create and manage lab orders through venipuncture.
• Handle prescription call-backs within the scope of practice.
• Prepare patient charts with relevant clinical information.
• Maintain stock levels in examination rooms.
• Adhere to regulatory compliance standards.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure required upon hire.
• Previous experience in a patient care setting preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to present information and respond to inquiries from patients and staff effectively.

Physical Demands:

• Constantly standing, walking, talking, and using repetitive motions.
• Frequent lifting and carrying.
• Occasional pushing, pulling, climbing, and balancing.
• Frequent kneeling, crouching, and reaching.
• Constant hand-eye coordination and feeling.
• Normal hearing required for communication.

Working Conditions:

• No exposure to extreme temperatures or wet conditions.
• Regular exposure to noise and potential hazards.
