Registered Nurse – Rehab travel assignment in Rochester, New York. Start date 07/06/2026 for a 13-week assignment in an inpatient rehabilitation and physical medicine program within a hospital setting. 12-hour shifts (D/E/N) with a weekly pay range of $2,061–$2,141. This role supports both pediatric and adult rehabilitation needs, including conditions such as stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, trauma, orthopedic, neuro-oncology, solid organ transplant, and heart failure. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for adult and pediatric rehab patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, manage telemetry, and respond to clinical changes promptly
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (PT, OT, speech, social work, physicians) to implement rehab goals and ensure safe mobility and ADLs
- Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge planning, and coping strategies to support independence
- Document patient progress accurately in the electronic health record and ensure compliance with unit policies
- Maintain patient safety and infection control standards; participate in rounds and care coordination discussions

Requirements
- Active New York State RN license
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Telemetry experience required
- Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and adapt to unit policies for rehab and PM&R populations

Education
- Current NYS RN license; completion of an approved registered nursing education program
- Willingness to meet ongoing credentialing and on-boarding requirements for travel assignments
