Live-In Details: Accommodations provided
Location: Scarsdale, NY
Schedule: Monday–Saturday
Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Schedule must be flexible to accommodate the needs of the principals)
Compensation: $1,800–$2,500 per week, paid via W2 (on the books)
Additional Benefits: Potential bonus at the conclusion of the assignment based on performance

A private couple in Scarsdale, NY is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Temporary Live-In Caregiver to provide support from May 5, 2026 through October 15, 2026. The role primarily involves assisting an older couple with transportation, errands, light caregiving support, and general day-to-day assistance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is patient, flexible, warm, and genuinely committed to helping older adults maintain a safe, healthy, and comfortable lifestyle.
Main Responsibilities:
• Provide basic caregiving support to an elderly couple, with primary support focused on the gentleman.
• Drive them to appointments, errands, and social engagements
• Run household errands, including grocery shopping, pharmacy pickups, getting gas, and coordinating vehicle servicing
• Provide light housekeeping support when the regular cleaning person is unavailable
• Assist with day-to-day household needs and help ensure the couple’s comfort and safety
• Offer attentive, respectful, and compassionate support based on the household’s evolving needs
Requirements
• Excellent driving record
• Prior experience working with seniors
• Patient, kind, and emotionally mature
• Compassionate, caring, and service-oriented
• Flexible and willing to go above and beyond when needed
• Dependable, attentive, and safety-minded
• Able to support the couple with warmth, empathy, and professionalism
Cooking Requirement:
Some cooking may be required.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3+ solid years of caregiving experience in a private household.
• Must have live-in experience in a private home
• Excellent references from both current and previous employers.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must speak and be able to communicate well in English.
• Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
• Valid Driver's license and clean driving record.
