Volt is immediately hiring a Receptionist in New York, NY

As a Receptionist, you will:

Your responsibilities will extend beyond greeting visitors at the front desk. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional capable of supporting both senior and junior team members with various administrative tasks, including time and expense reporting, as well as coordinating domestic and international travel arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk & Office Support

• Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Manage and coordinate conference room schedules; ensure rooms are clean, organized, and prepared before meetings.
• Assist with Zoom or virtual meeting setup as required.
• Order office supplies and maintain organization of supply rooms.

Administrative Support

• Assist multiple Senior and Junior employees with:
• Expense reports (preferably using Concur).
• Travel bookings (domestic and international).
• Calendar management.
• Meeting and catering coordination.
• Prepare basic correspondence and maintain accurate records as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant in a professional office environment.
• Strong skills in Outlook, Concur, and travel booking systems.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills; well Spoken and articulate.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Comfortable supporting employees at various levels of seniority.
• Professional appearance and demeanor always.

This is a Contract full time opportunity.

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
