About the Role:

Avon is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Assistant Brand Manager to join our fast-paced skincare division. This contract role is ideal for a marketing professional with 3-5 years of experience in the beauty or consumer goods space who's excited to drive product launches, support campaign execution, and elevate brand presence both in-store and online.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Launch Support: Assist with concept development, copywriting, positioning, packaging, and competitive research. Coordinate product samples and contribute to go-to-market strategies.
• Retail & Channel Marketing: Partner with sales teams to build promotional plans for retailers like Sephora and Ulta. Ensure initiatives align with brand goals.
• Campaign Execution: Support cross-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social, and in-store efforts.
• Event Coordination: Plan and manage logistics for PR events, sampling activations, and pop-up experiences.
• Performance Reporting: Track SKU and campaign performance, support the creation of weekly marketing decks and performance reports, and help manage inventory and demand planning.
• Market Research: Monitor industry trends, conduct competitor analysis, and provide insights to inform brand strategy and innovation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, supply chain, and sales teams to align brand initiatives with operational goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in skincare, beauty, or consumer packaged goods (CPG)
• Familiarity with beauty retailers (Sephora, Ulta, specialty channels)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized with excellent time-management abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or Google Analytics experience is a plus
• Demonstrated analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making skills
• Self-starter with a passion for skincare and beauty trends
• Preferred: Ability to read, write, or speak Korean.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
