Customer Data Product Manager

The organization seeks a Customer Data Product Manager to lead a proprietary fan data product, enabling personalization and engagement for a major professional sports league. The role emphasizes product strategy, consumer data capabilities, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver measurable fan experience outcomes.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $80.00 to $70.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:

- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for the proprietary fan data platform.
- Translate business goals into clear product requirements, roadmaps, and success metrics.
- Partner with data, marketing, and engineering teams to enhance how fan data is collected, unified, and activated.
- Identify opportunities to leverage fan insights for personalization, retention, and engagement.
- Work with stakeholders to define product vision, prioritize features, and align with league strategy.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on consumer data trends and best practices within digital product ecosystems.
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to validate data quality and ensure product integrity without coding or pipeline design.
- Monitor product performance and user engagement to inform improvements.
- Develop documentation, briefs, and reporting to communicate impact and roadmap progress to leadership.
- Champion data privacy, compliance, and ethical data use in all product initiatives.
Experience Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of product management experience, preferably with consumer data, CRM, or audience platforms.
- Proven ability to manage data-driven or customer insights products end-to-end.
- Experience in consumer-facing industries such as sports, media, entertainment, or D2C (preferred).

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range. W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.
