About the Role

We’re working with a busy, full-service veterinary hospital in West Babylon, NY that is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a supportive and experienced team. This is an excellent opportunity for new graduates and experienced veterinarians who are passionate about providing high-quality care for dogs and cats.

The hospital emphasizes Fear-Free techniques , advanced diagnostics, and a collaborative environment, giving veterinarians the tools and mentorship needed to thrive professionally.

Hospital & Team

• Team includes 2 Associate Veterinarians, 3 Credentialed Vet Techs, and 7 Veterinary Assistants
• Dedicated Dental Suite with Dental Radiology
• Digital Radiology, Ultrasound (diagnostic), Cold or Therapeutic Lasers
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
• Emphasis on Fear-Free handling and patient care
• Mentorship provided for students and new graduates

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Hours of Operation:
  • Monday – Tuesday: 8:00 am – 7:00 pm
  • Wednesday – Friday: 8:00 am – 8:00 pm
  • Saturday: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

Candidate Profile

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in New York
• Passionate about pet care and client communication
• Team-oriented, collaborative, and enjoys teaching or mentoring
• Lifelong learner motivated to grow professionally

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $130,000 – $140,000 annually, negotiable based on experience and credentials
