Restaurant Server
The Restaurant Server at Las Vegas Petroleum plays a pivotal role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to provide attentive and personalized service while efficiently managing food and beverage orders. We seek an energetic and motivated individual who is passionate about hospitality and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Interaction:
- Greet guests warmly and assist in making them feel welcome.
- Explain menu items, specials, and recommendations to help guests make informed choices.
- Take and relay orders accurately, ensuring all requests are handled.
- Manage guest inquiries and resolve concerns with a positive attitude.
- Service Excellence:
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and with a focus on presentation.
- Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction.
- Process payments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Operational Support:
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables before and after dining.
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the dining area at all times.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Sales Techniques:
- Promote menu items and upsell drinks and desserts.
- Inform guests about upcoming events, promotions, or new offerings.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a restaurant server or hospitality role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse guests.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and carry heavy trays.
- Ability to bend, lift, and move quickly as required by the pace of the service environment.
