Job Description

We are seeking a talented Java Developer to join our team and work on Derivatives IT projects. The ideal candidate will ensure the development, and support for all EQD trading desks (Exotics, Flow, Delta1).

Significant prior experience in trading support, including daily interaction with traders, is essential. This experience should involve derivatives products, particularly equity derivatives.

Role and responsibilities

Support Equity Derivatives traders and ensure technical development for the trading desks:

• Provide daily support for pricing and application-related issues.
• Develop new functionalities to enhance operational efficiency.
• Build and enhance core components for improved performance.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members.
• Take a proactive role in the long-term evolution of the platform.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with Equity Derivatives traders.

Qualifications

• Master degree in computer science
• Master degree in quantitative finance
• 3 year experience working on derivatives products (ideally Equity Derivatives products)
• 3 year experience working on trading support
• Motivated to work under own initiative whilst being a team player.
• Strong analytic and problem solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The salary range for this role is US$110,000 - US$150,000
