Location: Based in our corporate office location in Bohemia, NY in a hybrid capacity.
Please note: This is a Contract Position providing services to Nestlé in the USA through a third-party staffing services organization. If you are selected for this role, you will be an employee of a third-party staffing partner and not Nestlé in the USA.
Position Summary:
The Contract Coordinator will support professional openings at our factory locations across the United States. In addition, the role will support work in Supply Chain, Procurement, Research & Development, and other Globally Managed Functions to hire the best talent and build a robust talent network for the largest food company in the world. You will focus on sourcing and screening passive and active candidates for current and future openings and develop relationships with talent acquisition team members, business leaders and HR partners to drive innovative recruiting strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Focus on screening active applicants for openings.
• Attract passive candidates and active candidate with social recruiting tools.
• Occasionally lead full life cycle recruiting process from requisition posting through sourcing and offer acceptance.
• Influence key partners on candidate selection and advise on areas such as total reward packages for candidates.
• Execute sourcing plans for business groups such as direct sourcing, database mining, networking, name generation, cold-calling, industry events, associations, online communities, external research, and social marketing.
• Work as a trusted partner to the business on external market trends to include supply and demand, identify key talent and understand core components of compensation.
• Identify key behavioral and technical proficiencies that drive success, share recruitment sourcing strategy, and set expectations around process and timeline.
• Provide an excellent candidate experience and promote the Nestlé employment brand throughout the recruitment process.
• Conduct reoccurring meetings with hiring managers and hiring partners to determine effectiveness of recruiting plans and ensure agility throughout the process.
• Deliver recruiting process excellence by following internal policies and procedures, accurately tracking candidate and requisition activity in the applicant tracking system and adhering to all significant compliance and legal requirements.
• Conduct in-depth intake meetings with the business and their teams to ensure alignment on position, candidate profile, and establish clarity on roles and responsibilities.
Experience and Education Requirements:
• Must possess a High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ years of Corporate administrative experience.
• 1+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition coordination preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume workload and meeting tight deadlines.
• Experience maintaining confidential information.
• Experience working as part of a team to accomplish a shared objective.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook e-mail and calendar functionality required including creating and using templates, and using third-party tools to schedule meeting locations, conference calls and video conference calls.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Teams functionality required.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required including Mail Merge, formatting spreadsheets, basic formulas.
• Must have excellent communication skills (oral and written) and attention to detail.
• Proactive problem solver, adaptable, flexible, and must have superior customer service skills. #LI-SF1
The approximate pay range for this position is $30 - $40 an hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
