Med/Surg Telemetry RN Job Details

- Unit: Medical/Surgical Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele)
- Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,870 - $1,920
- Start Date: October 7, 2025
- End Date: January 6, 2026
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 4x12 hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:00), every other weekend required
- Hours per Week: 36
- Charting System: EPIC (EPIC EMR experience required)
- Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
- Proficient with EPIC charting system (EPIC EMR experience required)
- Must reside more than 75 miles from Rochester, NY (travel nursing requirement)
- Ability to float to other hospital units as needed
- Willingness to work every other weekend
- First-time travel nurses are encouraged to apply
- Deliver high-quality patient care in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data for cardiac and medical-surgical patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document all patient care activities using EPIC EMR
- Float to additional units as required to support hospital staffing needs
- Complete orientation and required clinical modules prior to assignment start
