Pay Range: $3300 - $4000/ weekly

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing – Psychiatry with at least 2 years of acute care hospital experience to lead and oversee nursing operations within the behavioral health department. The role involves managing nursing staff, ensuring high standards of patient care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and hospital policies. The Director will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes, support staff development, and promote a safe and therapeutic environment for psychiatric patients.

Requirements:

• Director of Nursing – Psychiatry with at least 2 years of acute care hospital experience
• NY State RN License
• BLS Certified through AHA
• ACLS Certified through AHA
• COVID card

Duties

• Oversee daily nursing operations within the psychiatric department to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff while supporting professional development and training.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and behavioral health best practices.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and care delivery.
• Monitor quality assurance, patient safety initiatives, and implement improvements in psychiatric nursing services.
