Host
We are looking for a dynamic, customer-focused individual to join our team as a Host. The ideal candidate is a team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is committed to providing exceptional guest service from the moment each guest arrives. **Must have open availability and be able to work late nights.**
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and professionally, creating a welcoming first impression.
- Manage reservations according to company standards and seating procedures.
- Answer reservation calls and accurately record guest information.
- Confirm reservations in accordance with established procedures.
- Seat guests efficiently and evenly to ensure smooth service and balanced server sections.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the venue, including menus, cocktails, and amenities, to assist guests.
- Follow all reservation policies and communicate them clearly to guests.
- Monitor the host stand and lobby area, including coordinating with the bus team to ensure cleanliness and readiness.
- Remain calm and professional while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management.
- Learn and efficiently operate the walkie-talkie and telephone systems.
- Report guest concerns or operational issues to management promptly.
- Work collaboratively with the team to provide an exceptional guest experience.
Requirements:
- Must have at least 2 years of high-volume restaurant, bar, or lounge experience.
- Previous bar/lounge experience is required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
